G560 Wireless Freezes laptop only when at University

I have searched the forums and haven't seen anything quite like my situation.I have a G560 laptop.Got it the thursday and by saturday i got 3 BSOD  and 5 or so computer freezes(had to firce shutdown).I then realised the BSOD's and freezes only occur when I'm at university.At home nothing happens..on further analysis ,i eliminated the charger cable.It only freezes at school when wireless is on.I used an ethernet cord for hours at school...went fine...as soon as I turned on wifi,,it froze.So i changed drivers...nothing worked.....checked drivers on lenovo's site...when installing ,it says No Matched Device Driver.Im running windows 7 64 bit.

If they are and if the problem happens again and only in your University's wifi and not in any other location such as a cafe with wifi or at home,

i recommend contacting the U's IT dept and also check with your uni mates if they ever had the same issue as you.

OK, I have contacted the IT services and they will take look at it after exams...ill see what happens,thanks for the info...in te meanwhile ill check to see if the driver is updated

I downloaded all the win 7 64 bit drivers from that link you sent me...none of them worked with my laptop at all,had to resort to the original atheros....hopefully the guys in IT services know wat to do

readdycomm installed? it's not driver issue. possible university using non-compatible device.

There is no readycomm ...but it has  to be a compatibility issue

you may need to update modem's firmware but under these conditions it doesn't sound it's possible.

I thought modems were only for dial up connections?
