G770 Fan is running 24/7 it never STOPS

Finally got away from Dell when I purchased my G770. This is an amazing machine and I would buy it again and recommend to my friends and family. The only annoyance is that the fan is always running. I run a dual monitor setup and I was wondering if its normal for the fan always to be on. Thanks in advance.

hey RandolphJR05,

welcome to the forums.

from what I know, the fan should always spin to keep the processor from overheating but it should not spin to a point of it being loud nor it should spin fast when you leave it idle.

could you explain / describe more ?
