G770 fan always on

G770 - i7-2620M 2.7GHz 6GB 750GB

Win 7 HP 64 -  MS update auto - fully updated. 

Less than 12 months old.

Energy management set to high perf - no battery installed - runs off mains only 

Smart power saving & smart sensing all checked in energy management options

 

Fan now constantly runs - getting worse path couple of months -  check task monitor ~1% utilization or less.

Not a dusty atmosphere, fan ducts all clean, plenty of clearance round fan ducts.

Machine does not run noticeably warm.

check for DSDT fixes in this forum , and ask for a BIOS update ...

I have the same problem. Clean Win7, loq use, no dust, Energy management,..  but fan still on.

 

How to solve it?
