G770 not booting, no Bios access, no display

When pressing the power button of this brand new G770, the power light blinks a couple times then stays solid, that's it, no fan spinning, no display on the monitor, so impossible to access the bios. Reading other posts, I tried removing the battery, then the hard disk, but to no avail.

Any idea before I send it back to the service centre?

hi fred.

have you also checked the ram sticks? also, try the trick below:

remove the battery, un-plug the ac power, press power button for 30 seconds, replace the battery and check if it works.

Yes I tried the sticks and holding the power button, still the same result, the power light flickers then stays solid, no fan, no display, nothing really....

Anymore idea or is this a service centre case?

it sounds like hardware issue, could be mainboard and replacement may be needed. (probably service will replace the mainboard )

There was a battery issue, fixed now
