Please someone help me…
I have Lonovo G530 4446-23U, Visa Home.
I got this laptop from my brother and today I created the Recovery Discs because the laptop didn’t come with any Discs.
When I create the disc, it asked to put CD, so I put blank CD and burned the first disc.
Next it asked to put another one, so I put blank DVD and burned it then it said Recovery Disc is complete.
So, I enter BIOS and change CD to boot first, put 1st CD and restart.
The laptop shows Rescue and Recovery 4, and asked if I have Operating System Recovery Disc.
I click No and asked me to put Application and Drivers Recovery Disc, so I put in the DVD.
Then asked me if I have Supplemental Recovery Disc and I clicked No.
And showing the Error Message;
Error: File not Found: Q:\Recovery\recov2.dat
I clicked Ok and another error message.
The system connot find the path specified.
I clicked Ok again and laptop reboot.
It did not boot OS but keep repeating error messages.

It looks like I need Supplemental Recovery Disc which I don’t have…
Where can I found this Disc?
I googled, searched Lenovo support but no luck.
Is there any other way to fix this issue?

I am having the exact same problem though my laptop is a 4446-36U with vista home premium. The silly thing is that the laptop is now stuck in limbo; I can't get it back into HDD OS as it is gone, and the recovery DVD's loop me through the same steps.
I'm trying to fix this laptop for my dad so any help would be appreciated.
