I have a Lenovo 3000 N200 , model 0769-AUU
Currently has the original T2330 CPU SPECS
Looking to upgrade this to the best CPU possible that this model line can take.. seems I find some conflicting info out there.
Also any kind of firmware/bios updates to allow more then 4gb of mem ? Or the chipset pretty much stuck as is, and limiting what I can use. Kinda sad that cpu can do 64bit, but the board won't allow more then 4gb.
Currently I have the fan/heatsink/cpu cover modified awhile back to reduce temps, was around 15* or more temp drop.
This is only my desk at work, or desk at home, so coolpad always in use.

Original specs say T7500, but bios update 3.03 listed this:
So at least T8300, with bios update, and others in that series or later may be supported.
I think you are stuck with 4 GB though, most likely limited by chipset.

Basically, I recently came to this forum to ask about an issue with my lenovo and was very pleased with the responses.
The issue was resolved and I gave my laptop a minor upgrade (new hard drive and new RAM).
Now im wondering is it possible to upgrade the processor? If so, what's that maximum GHz I can go to? And what exactly am I looking for?
At the moment the processor is Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 @ 1.50.
Any help is appreciated
Thank you
