Lenovo 3000 N100 0768 - VISTA SP1 ISSUES/PROBLEMS - Pls HELP

Windows update automatically installed Vista SP1 on 6/9/08. From that day my Lenovo 3000 N100 0768 A49 is having all kinds of problems

1) Speakers - No Sound 

2) Integrated Camera - stopped working

3) Microphone - stopped working

In Device Manager - for all the above devices it says Driver is good and Device is working fine. Not but the least

4) When IE is open, almost 60% of 2GB ram is being used only for IE and CPU is 100% most of the time.

I did a google serach and many complained the same problems, but no solution. PLEASE PLS PLS HELP.

(FYI.. I tried downloading & installing latest drivers from realtek and sonix - NO SUCCESS)

If no solution my only option is to go back to factory default using product recovery discs. PLSSSSSS HELP.

IE is famous for being the most buggy application ever. Use Firefox instead, as many people do (me, for example). Regarding drivers - try to roll back them and then install again. if did not help - boot in safe mode, remove devices i ndevice manager and reboot -> install drivers. Camera might be turned on by some combination of buttons, did you check that? (I understand, sounds a bit funny but still some people forget that...)
