Hi just wondering if it would be possible to upgrad the CPU in the laptop to either P7370 or P7570 i have looked on the CPU Spec list but thats outdated the P7570 is the same as the P7550 but with VT enabled and P7370 will be the same as the P7350.
the P7X70 cpus are not on the list and would like some confirmation from lenovo if they will work or not before buying them.
Solved! Go to Solution.

if you have intel 945gm chipset, none of all is possible for upgrade.
check your chipset and post back if it's not intel 945gm. ( download everest to check the chipset )

Are you sure its supported though in the BIOS lenovo supplies. I am on 2.53 Version atm.
I have seen on forum someone tried the P9400 and it failed to boot.
