I want to upgrade the graphics(GPU) of my lenovo G550 upto 512 mb. Is it possible to do so?

It depends of your type. G550 what?

The graphics chip is integrated on the motherboard, you cannot upgrade it. The only things you can upgrade on a notebook  are  the hard drive, the RAM modules and the optical drive.
