Hello there,
today I bought my new notebook "Lenovo G560". After I installed Windows 7 Professional, 64 Bit, I installed the CD "Win7 Drivers (32bit & 64bit). Everything worked out nicely but the sound.
The internal loudspeaker of my notebook don't play sound properly - it's as follows: I plug in Headphones and I can listen to the music etc. properly all time long. After I unplug them, I can hear a sound for one more second via the internal loudspeakers - then everything is mute again.
I already downloaded all current windows updates and I downloaded and installed the file recommended by you (IN2AUD14WW5.exe) - but it didn't solve my problem.
I hope so much, that anybody can help me. I even downloaded all the current Win 7 updates - but nothing helped... :-( The Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox couldn't help my in this matter, too.
Here are some technical data about the gadget:
Lenovo G560,
Intel i3 Processor
Conexant Soundcard

Hey Yigit,
thank you for the idea!
I just tried it. The speakers worked within those tests, but not proper - they played a sound for approx a second - then it stopped again :-(

Download a Live CD (for example, Ubuntu) and run it. Check if you still have the same problem. Maybe this is only a driver related problem.

Hey IPnaSh,
thank you for the tipp!
I booted my notebook with Ubuntu 10.04. I could hear the sound only through headphones - even after unplugging not a single sound was to hear via the loudspeakers - I hope I don't have to exchange my laptop....:-(
