Lenovo G560 crash down

For some reason my laptop crash down twice. When I switch on third time the Windows XP give me solution "Open last good known configuration" (or something like that) and I use this option. The laptop now working good but I am interesting what can cause crashing of it. I didn't install any new program, except yesterday Windows auto update.  Can too hot time to cause some crash like that. Laptop is old only one year and three month and I have warranty for it.

it could be the windows update. can you try to use restore (windows restore)?

Thanks yigit. I haven't problem with lap last few days after I use "Last good known configuration" for first login. It is looking the Win update make this trouble.

Hi

My lenovo G560 machine also crashed. Nothing works. Not even "last known good configuration"

It only gives me a message that it is recovering and will startup and shutdown multiple times. But then it gets hangs and nothing happens.

I am able to use a ubuntu cd and boot the machine and even access the files on hard disk. What coule be the problem??
