Lenovo G575 loud fan

i worked on one a few weeks back.
alittle loud yes.
i used brazos tweeker to under volt the cpu and chipset.
worked like a charm.
notebook forum review has alot of info on it.
i looked at the g575 and what a sweet design the trap door with the cpu cooler right there.
not that i think there a reason why there be a issue with that sweet design i look at the mounting of that if i saw high temps.
the e350 is a cool chip next to a sandy bridge but i think it more of a fan setting on them.
the reviews said it was loud too.
you think they add a bios update for this...... not bad notebook.
had it had a hdmi port i be all over this model.
my B575 same size same apu e 350 has a more hidden location but it runs very quite.
apple to oranges well mayby not.
there are fan control programs out there,,,,really not my bag but brazos tweeker works well and you might wanna lighten the load on the lil brazos apu and adjust some services not it not 40 plus.
infact my single core atom N450 5 watt put out more hot air then this brazos model and i have it running at full speed mode not power saver.

Big fan of the thinkpad series. thought I would get the essential one for secondary machine. Fan noise is really loud. Its constant. As soon as I log in to window. I don't know how to change it or go into the bios. Would rather not mess with the CPU because I need the power. Please advise.

this thread did not help me at all, i already saw it. Im not messing with third party complicated cpu modifers when the laptop should be ok on day 1. any ideas, other than returning or sending in the laptop for repair?

same problem here.   Fan running full tilt within a minute of loading into windows... cool air coming out the side.   

Ran the utility speedfan and the temps are nothing crazy... nothing over 40 degrees.

I have reinstalled the latest bios (which was released in June of this year... 1.05) and reinstalled the power management software.  Didn't help.

it'd be better to contact lenovo support. your computer may need thermal grease replacement. ( in worst case fan replacement )

  Here is a simple way to reduce fan noise. It is necessary to break the red wire to include a resistor of 27 ohms, power of 1 watt.

can you explain how and why think of adding a resistor ? how can this reduce  heat ?
