All,
We can look into this... to help us, please note which model of G770 you have and some additional details about the fan cycling on an off. Does it start doing this immediately, or after it warms up?
What applications are you running? Any difference whether on AC or Battery?
Please confirm the version of BIOS you are running (I understand there may not be an update available for download yet, but sometimes we change BIOS in production and it is possible that not all shipped models may be at the same level, so any additional details to help us isolate and recreate the issue will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Less than 12 months old.
Energy management set to high perf - no battery installed - runs off mains only
No improvement if any other power scheme selected
Smart power saving & smart sensing all checked in energy management options
Fan now constantly runs - getting worse path couple of months - check task monitor ~1% utilization or less.
Not a dusty atmosphere, fan ducts all clean, plenty of clearance round fan ducts.
Machine does not run noticeably warm.

This thread was started in order to seek information from people with machines suffering from this problem.
Are there any fixes forthcoming?
My machine now runs it's fan constantly when I'm not even working on it, with just a browser and email running, and no noticeable processor activity.
This is so bad, I'm considering dumping it and getting a competitor's machine.
bad show ...
