Lenovo N100 3000 won't boot and blank screen

Hi

I need help. Bought n100 3000 in 2006. now when i try to boot - first the "z" light comes on- then the harddisk light comes - fan runs and then fan stops, harddisk light stops and "z" light stays on and screen stays blank/black.

I tried removing battery and everything happens in same order as described above.

Can anybody please help me?

check your ram sticks, try to remove/replace or swap.
also, if you have va or hdmi cable, try to use it.
