Hello joejim,
reading your post here are the things I can think of:
1. When you start you laptop (during logo or BIOS) you do not need LCD or monitor drivers! If the image is not displayed correctly on the display it means you do have a hardware problem.
2. On that link you have pasted there is diagnostics (called PC Doctor) try to download it and run a Full system test ... may be you will find some failing items like video or something else.
3. I think it would be best to call your vendor (the place where you have bought your laptop from) and ask them if they know who is your certified warranty service provider. It would be best to give it to the service provider so they can check it and perhaps fix it for you

Monitor driver can solve this problem for running system.
During installation Nero i have a fun bug.
When installing Nero, it apparently install some driver for monitor during self installation, and image become correct.
But later after reboot this driver disappear, and i cannot found it anywhere.
For now no drivers for monitor is installed.
And i have no idea where to find this drivers in Internet.
If you can provide me a link for driver file for laptop, this can be very useful.
I will try run PC Doctor or something later when i access this computer(it's not my)

my videocard return unproper display mode (1280x800)
Intel recomendations to fix this:
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022544
i need some way to fix video bios or find drivers for monitor, which defines proper video mode(1024x768) for me.
But for this model no standard video drivers provided.
I try update my bios by bios update utilite from lenovo site but it nothing changed.
Updating video drivers cannot help me too.
Any ideas?
