My Dvd drive is acting oddly

My Y410's DVD drive which is not a Slot-in one, reads CD's fine, but the DVD reading is rather slow and sometimes my whole system goes into a sort of vibration, and makes (a lot of) sound when reading a DVD and copying from it.

Does that happen to everyone else, or is there something wrong with my laptop's DVD drive?

Are you using original DVD??? the buzzing sound and vibration usually represents discs that are improperly balanced or warped???

I use both sort of disks, ie, original ones and those burned by users like me...

But whatever the disk type is the vibration exists...
