N100 questions about new processor and memory. [ Edited ]

Hello. I have 2 questions about new processor and memory. I would like to buy a new part.

(Now I have:

• Windows XP PRO, 32bit
•  160GB Seagate Momentus 5400.5 ST9160310AS
• Processor T2450
• 2x 1GB Samsung DDR2 M470T2864DZ3-CE6 PC5400 667MHz
• Intel 945GM 256MB

1. Whether this laptop collaborated with T8300,T9300,T9400 ? Now I have T2450.

2. Whether this laptop may have 4GB memory?

On this page (click , p.37) you can see a list of compatible processors for N100, N200. Could I buy T9300? Or I must buy from this list T7600 ? On polish forums I read that the T7700 is better than T7600. But T770 isn't on the list.



And tell me whether i feel 'more power' if I have 3GB(1x1GB, 1x2GB) of RAM (now i Have 2x1GB)

according to intel, your mainboard doesn't support t770.
you can also check the manual below:

about upgrading ram, it's true that it'll effect your system performance.

I am new to the discussion community, and I don't know much about computers.

I have a couple of questions.

I have a 3000  N100 0768-25u. The CPU is:

Intel® Core Duo Processor T2300 1.6GHZ/2M /667 SL8VR

I know this to be true because the SL8VR is visible on the chip beside the heat sink.

My question is can I upgrade it with this CPU:

Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7600 2.33GHz/4M/667 SL9SD

If it is compatable is it a direct swap?

After I make the change what else do I have to do, something with the bios?

Will I notice an increase in performance?

I already added memory to get it up to 3 GB.

I changed the hard drive from 5400 RPM to 7200RPM AND FROM 80 GB to 500 GB

Any help will be much appreciated.

intel 945pm chipsets support intel® core™2 duo processor t7600 (4m cache, 2.33 ghz, 667 mhz fsb)*
if you have the same chipset, feel free to upgrade.

I used the intel identifier, and it says I have a  945gm.

How can I find an upgrade to that?

Did a little searching and it seems that 945pm and 945gm take the same cpu's
