Hello - I followed the guide on how to downgrade from Vista to Windows XP, and it worked like a charm, EXCEPT when I changed the BIOS back from Compatibility mode to the SATA mode. Prior to the change, no error messages in device manager. After the change, one error message "PCI Device, Device Type: IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers Manufacturer: unknown Location PCI bus 0, device 31, function 2
Device status The drivers for this device are not installed (code 28) To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver"
No driver is loaded as no device is recognized.
This doesn't appear to have any effect on functionality, but I would like to clean it up.
My model is Lenovo 3000 v200, with BIOS LENOVO 65ET59WW (0.10) 03/28/2008
Any suggestions?
