Problem with Lenovo G565 charging

Hello,

Suddenly this morning my laptop just refused to charged. The battery then was at 13% which eventually drained out. Since then I have been trying to charge but all the LED shows is blinking orange & at times steady orange. When orange is steady for battery led the on/off led keeps blinking in white. The adpater also has a orange light which was blinking faintly but has grown stronger & steadier over the last few hours. The laptop is just 6 months old & has not been used to an extent where the battery should stop charging. Just hoping its something to do with the adapter.

try to remove/replace the battery first.
also, try this trick: remove the battery, un-plug the ac power, press power button for 30-40 seconds, replace the battery and check if it works.

No such luck. The battery led gave 3 blinks & then moved on to being steady orange. The on/off led is blinking in white. When powered on it just starts loading windows & shuts down suddenly. But the led for on/off is still blinking now.

check if your computer works fine with only ac power.
if it works, you need battery replacement. due to you have valid warranty, call lenovo support line and ask for free replacement.
