Problem with easy capture(MAYBE WEBCAM TOO)

When I launch the easy capture software for the Webcam, the view screen remains black(ie, the cam output), until I either show my hand in front of it, or until I show some light in front of it. It seems that the camera sensor needs some sort of excitation to start working..

But in 'Cheese' that I use under Open SUSE 11.0, as the webam software such problems are less..Is this a possible hardware problem, or is it the problem with 'Easy capture'/

Does any of use experience the same problem with your integrated Webcam, or "EasyCapture'??
