Ok, I've had my laptop for a few years now, having problems popping up more and more, so it's time to see what could be causing them.
The first is a problem I've had for a while but didn't think to ask about while it was under warranty. When I go view some video sites, Hulu.com or http://www.thedailyshow.com/ I notice that the video playback is extremely twitchy for lack of a better word. The audio quality may be fine, but the video has issues, as if it's skipping around. I've tried on both of the browser programs I use (Firefox and Internet Explorer) and that makes no difference. It also makes no difference if it's buffered all the way or not.
The second is a more troubling problem. Every so often in the past 3 years, when I try to shut down, I keep an eye on the wireless USB mouse dongle to turn off, signifying that the laptop is shut down, as well as the screen going off. Every so often, and it happens more and more now, every other light, including the USB mouse connector will turn off, except for the hard drive light, which will just flicker on and off repeatedly and the screen will stay on "Shutting down". A few times I just let it go, and after about 20-30 minutes, it will take me back to the log-in screen. If I re-log in, I eventually get a message that says windows has recovered from a shutdown (Bluescreen).
When i saved one of the crash screens, I get this.

I've already taken precautions and started backing up my essential items, but any ideas on either of these?

Bumping my own thread since the blue screen on shut down really concerns me. So it did it again, and the blue screen stated that a "Driver Power State Failure" had occurred. This is the most recent copy/paste of the event. It already deleted the .tmp file, but I did save the .dmp file, but I don't know how to attach it.
I have also used a couple of the Lenovo tools, the memory tester and used the system update.
Help!!
