Query regarding LAPTOP SCREEN DISPLAY

I have a y410-7757 82Q with Geforce 8400m GS. I am using win Vista. I am getting a black border of about 1mm on every side of the screen. Is it normal? or is there any problem with my screen? I am using native resolution of 1200x800 with a refresh rate of 60 Hz .

Any quick reply would be highly appreciated as my laptop is in warranty period.

Right click any place on the screen, select Graphic Properties > Display Settings > Aspect Ratio Options (under Display Expansion) > Full Screen (No Border).

Thanx for your reply, but the problem that I have is not because of the border of vista windows. I tried removing the border by tweaking around but got no change.

I have a 1mm thick black border right from the beginning of boot up... Is this 1mm border regular? its a mm thick on all the sidesAs it is my first laptop, I donot have any previous experience.
