REPLACING HOUSING????????

hi Iam using 3000Y500 series laptop from past 3yrs and my lappy is working fine but my problem is regarding the housing because it had been scratched at top which makes me uncomfortable to carry outside.so it is possible to change whole casing,if it is possible please help me out in giving my laptop a new look

I have painted laptop housings before. Used spray paint.
It can chip if not prepared properly, but it cleans them up real nice!

If the scratches are slight, polish the scratches with car polish, if the scratches become less visible and you are satisfied, polish the whole surface to make the appearance uniform.

search ebay for a new lcd cover or as yigit said get a new skin they come off without leaving sticky glue behind I have a Indy Colts skin on my R61
