Recording using the Line in on my lenovo g550

Hi Guys I have been using the microphone in on my g550 to record music and when I record it any replay it the music sounds quite poor quality. Are there any internal presets I can change to improve this?

There is no Line-in on this notebook. Only an input for the microphone. Buy an external soundcard if you want to record.
