Reinstall Windows from saved OneKey files

Hello all!

When I purchased my Lenovo G530, I took a screenshot of the partition table and saved the files from all partitions in an external device. Then I have formated the whole partition. Later I needed to do some stuff in a Windows machine: formated, flaged, and named the partitions as they were before, set the partition types as needed using sfdisk, but still received some error. I missed some way to make it bootable.

My questions are:

1. Is it possible for me to make OneKey bootable again?
2. OR is it possible to install Windows using the files I backed up from the partitions?
3. OR at least is it possible to get my genuine license key for Windows someway. I don't have any around and need urgently to use some software that was written for Windows only.

The license key will be in the COA sticker on your desktop

Sorry for not telling you, it is a laptop, a G530. Where can I find this sticker?

Check at the bottom.You will find a sticker labeled as "Certificate of Authenticity"

Thank you again for your reply! Now, should I be able to get any copy of Windows Vista Basic and use this key?

EDIT: by saying any copy I mean getting the CD from someone, but using my key instead of theirs.

yes, you can borrow vista basic dvd and use your serial number.

shipping your laptop back to service for resetting hdd to its default helps you to solve this issue.
( lenovo may charge you )
