I try THIS BIOS (v1.09) and G570 is silent, but only to 55C, then fan start...and can't stop. So fan problem can be fixed with newer bios release.

What makes you think it can be fixed ?
BTW here the thread about latest BIOS for G470 / G570 :

I wish I can see the changelog of those releases ...

Hi all,
Have had my G570 for about 2 weeks now. Today I was using it and noticed it felt hot. Running coretemp I saw the temperature was higher than usual (it was around 65c)...
I then ran a cpu stress test to see if the fan would kick in and it did not... the temp went up to 90c and I stopped the test and rebooted. Fan is working okay now.
I have two questions:
What could cause the fan to stop working all of a sudden? I have had laptops that the fan would not kick in after standby but after testing my G570 it appears to work out of standby just fine. Just a freak occurcance?
When the fan kicks in it never turns itself off... even after cpu usage has gone down and temps are back low. Is this normal?
My G570 is using BIOS v 2.14 which is newer than the BIOS on the driver downloads (2.09). What's the deal with that?
