Replacing G570 fan

Guys, im suggest to send this Lenovo Employee information about yours machines that he is requested, if you dont do this yet. Or maybe this one.

i wrote as recommended in the previous post and i have got response. This is the answer through email:

already there is a update of g570´s bios v2.18!!! you cand find on this link:

i have already installed but i don´t know if they have fixed the fan...here in spain we are around 28º C and the cpu temperature is over 55º C and the fan never stop. I wait your feedback about this bios update.

After flashing new bios...

Fan on medium speed, does not stop.

I have G470. I just installed v2.18 and now the fan is running at medium speed (as opposed to lousy fast) but still on all the time. 

better than before but still, the fan doesn't need to run when the system is idle when I am doing nothing, no?

we must trust on lenovo...somebody of their staff answered me by email 2 days ago and tell me that the engineering is working about this issue and that he contact me in case of a new bios update.

Been back and fourth with our engineering, and they asking if anyone is willing to voluteer to send in their machine to our engineering side to investigate further into the matter. We are currently lloking anyone in the EMEA region to helpus with this investigation as would would like to search for an actaul root cause of the issue.

Please do let me know and should anyone willing to voluteer to PM diectly.
