Hi all, I think my G475 may be a victim. Fan on max speed all the time.
I think nobody has reported this since there is no BIOS update for my model.
Does anyone know if there is a chance the G470/G570 bug could also be the same on my G475?
Thanks

hi rzrfreefr,
Thank you for the support provided. We really appreciate it, However, inregards to your request we do not have a machine that is spefically catered to Linux OS. Our machines are catered for the WIn OS. But should your machine be running the WIn OS and facing this issue I'll be more than happy to inform our engineering team of the request.
@ all, to those of you facing this running on Win7 please do PM with the details. Just to let u know that this is open to users residing in the US as well. If there are any users in the US please do PM me as machine in the US will be a lot faster to process and expedite.
Do let me know guys

hi xepe,
In the case for your machine it could be slightly diffrent. I'm not particualrly sure but would it be possible for to elaborate more on the issue that ur facing specically.
But however should you feel the issue is the same, a bios update would be best to first start with. May i know what is th Bios version that you have? Currently the latest bios that we have rolled out for your model is the 41CN21WW(V1.07)_Winflash.zip.
You may want to try it out first. You can download the bios @ http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.p
Try updating the Drivers of your machine to latest too. It can help with rectifying most issue.
DO let me know,
Regards

I am another g570 owner with this annoying fan.
Come on Lenovo, if you can't fix it, you could at least
release a version of BIOS with fan configuration options
unlocked, so people could tweak it.
