Hi, I have a Lenovo 3000-G430 series thinkpad which is around 13 months old, I am not able to start it . On pressing the start button all the other buttons like HDD, wireless, sound controls etc keep glowing except the power button, can some body help me out and guide me.

the present status is when i press the power on button whether with battery or directly theu ac on, the battery led remains off, the fan starts, HDD bluetooth and all the sound control buttons on the top glows continuously..

1. Try Shutdown, pull the battery, remove power. wait 10 min, re-insert battery, connect ac, try bootup.

2. hold power button down till computer shuts down. Does it shutdown?

Thinking power button is problem?

Hello Alwi,

Would you be able to give a step-by-step guid on how you removed the keyboard module? Did you take out any screws at then bottom before you took out the top panel where the easy keys and power button are located (from your first picture)?

Does anyone knows where can I find the online training for LENOVO 3000 G460.

In the Lenovo Service Training I only found at Essential Notebooks the G470 and G570 and at Lenovo 3000 doesn`t appear me some option like G460

We work here specially with G / Y / Z and S Series and would be like to do the online courses

Hi... It would be great if the service videos could be posted for Lenovo 3000 G430 series (4152). Infact its a very sorry state of affairs that not even a single manual is available on the lenovo site for parts reference for this category/series. Thanks in advance
