Hey Tom, you aren't the only one. Slow wake up from sleep and Extremely slow response from the fingerprint reader is frustrating. I'll keep watching the thread and see if they come up with something useful. I'd hope there would be a way to streamline the app, or prioritize it. This is very frustrating.

FWIW, I find it faster to lock the computer manually before closing the cover to put it in stand-by and waiting the 5 seconds or so for the fingerprint box to come up, then closing the lid.Then the fingerprint program is in RAM and doesn't have to wait for the HD to wake up.
