Hi,
I recently purchased the Lenovo IdeaPad G570 (hope this is the correct forum for it) as I am not too sure of what drivers etc I needed to to update with I thought I would use the Smart Downloading. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium and my mains browsers are Firefox 10 and IE 9. Neither will download the relevant program. The nearest I get is in Firefox which asks me to get a Plugin "application/x-vnd.lenovo.duoeng.20" this only leads to a page completely in Chinese!!
Any suggestions please

Hi Hamish,
As far as i know, the Smart Downloading will only work if your machine is not even installed with drivers or some drivers installed in the machine are defective. You may need to manually download the drivers you need instead of using Smart Downloading.
Anyhow, if your computer is working fine, I do not suggest to do any drivers upgrade. Anyhow, you can look for the G570 drivers from our consumer support site.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Cleo

Hi Cleo
Thanks for your reply. I guess I will take your advice and leave well alone as it seems to be working ok at the present.
I would try to download manually but am not sure what to download and and what to leave alone
