USBs Fried? - New G770

Have new G770 and plugged Passport 'Elements' external drive into middle of the leftside 3 ports (not external power).

Got 'Power Surge on USB Hub' error message and that hub no longer functions.

At the same moment the USB port on the opposite side of the machine stopped working (my mouse).

Both these ports no longer function or will recognize any device, so I have 2 working hubs of 4.

Computer/Devices/USB says everything working.

Rebooting, Restore did nothing. Repair?

Thanx for any ideas.

hey nowzen,

try disabling the USB ports via Device Manager; reboot and then reenable.
