Re: Upgrade Ram maximum for Lenovo 3000 V100 0763 2LU

Personally, I have used a few different sets of memory with my V100, and I haven't had any problems with any.

Having 2x2GB set should work on the laptop, but please note that you will only be able to use just more than 3GB of the 4GB. This is because the laptop has a 32-bit OS.

I think Kingston would be the cheaper option, and I haven't had any troubles with them on my V100.

Re: Upgrade Ram maximum for Lenovo 3000 V100 0763 2LU

thanks tseedmund very much. I know my laptop will run only more 3GB of the 4GB.

my  trouble is have anyone tell me "Ram of Kingston 2x2GB will not run on my laptop, it run only 2GB, V100 will run 2x2GB with Ram of Consair"

Kingston is cheaper option but i  worry when i buy 2x2GB Kingston, it not run 4GB :smileysad:

Having Kingston or Corsair shouldn't make any difference on the accessible amount of memory. This is because your other devices still need to use the same amount of addresses to perform their I/O functions.
