Using 4gb pc2-6400 rams in n200 lenovo?

Hello!

Does anyone has an idea if the laptop speed boosts up when upgrading from 2x516mb pc2-5300 ram to 2x2gb pc2-6400 ram in lenovo 3000 n200 0769 laptops?

is there any significant difference noted between 2x2gb pc2-5300 and pc2-6400 rams when using in lenovo n200 laptops?

Thank you.

Re: Using 4gb pc2-6400 rams in n200 lenovo?

I know of no way to upgrade the graphics on your model, the graphics is integrated with the motherboard.  Lenovo does, or did sell, a laptop with both an integral and a separate graphics adapter, for a lot more money than you likely paid for your model.

Putting as much memory on your motherboard as possible will make your laptop seem faster.   You need a 64-bit operating system to take advantage of > 4 GB of RAM.    You did not say what kind of Windows 7 you are running, 32-bit or 64-bit.   I'm sure there are other posts on this forum about how much memory your model can take.

It is possible to upgrade the CPU on your machine, check other posts on this forum for details for just what upgrades are possbile.
