Vertical white stripes on display (G770)

[ Edited ]

After installing Windows 7 and all drivers on my newly bought G770 Lenovo i3-2350M laptop it is very difficult to read the text, every second vertical line of pixels is white. If I take a screenshot and open it on another computer, it looks good. The vertical white stripes are visible in the BIOS too. Any idea about it? Of course I have tried to install newest graphic drivers, but with no success. Since it happens also in BIOS, I am thinking if  it might be some hardware failure??

Good thinking! Lines in bios= hardware problem.

Also hook up a external monitor,
if possible, to see if problem shows there also.

Could be lcd panel, lcd cable, or graphics hardware on motherboard.

If external displays good, it is panel or cable.

Yes, attaching an external monitor shows normal readable display. Thanks for your quick help, I will return the machine.
