Wrong Bios on N200 Type 0769 BRG?

Got this last week and the bios is version 1.8 68ET24ww, which from what I understand is the bios off the type 0687? This is how it came to me, ive since put the correct bios on from Lenovo update just wondering why this would be on in the first place? Mine was a refurb but my dad bought a brand new one from the same online store and his was the same?

Same here, N200 new from store with 68ET24WW and automaticaly "updated" by  SystemUpdate3 to "last" BIOS available aka 68ET21WW.
The 0687 type BIOSes are 66something from what I see.
For me it's seems that after the BIOS "update" the Fingerprint Software lose the touch with Client Security Solution (see the hottest thread here)
So be aware ...
