any other way to access BIOS menu??

Hi,

I have a G530 4446 24G laptop with windows vista installed. I want to install win7 however i cannot access to BIOS menu by pressing lenovo care button. When I press that button, for just a second it seems like a new window will appear however the system continues to boot win vista. Aren't there any other ways to access BIOS menu?

first of all thank you for your help

I think my question seems a little bit unclear: I want to install win7 (I have a DVD) however I could not access to the menu that I will format C. Isn't that menu called BIOS menu? I pressed F2 and then F8 however I think I'm still at the wrong menu. =))

Maybe you mean the Boot Device menu?

That should be F12.

Choose the DVD drive and watch for "press any key to boot from ..."

Press any key.

Win 7 installation will start.

You can format  hard drive when installing Win 7.

Did the computer enter bios setup with F2?

You can also change the Boot Order in bios to have DVD drive first.

There is no menu to "format C".

I think he wants to boot from DVD. He needs to change the boot priority.

thank you for your help. I was searching for boot device menu. When I changed the boot order, everything went the way I want.
