camera suddenly not working

people of lenovo, loyal costumers, lend me your ears.

 

the device "Lenovo EasyCam" integrated in my 1 month old g550 2958-J6Y laptop stopped working from 1 day to another. there are drivers in the support page and it's easy to realize wich are the corect ones. i've installed them but then neither the lenovo software or live messenger seem to find it.

any other user of the same laptop can point me in the right direction? i would hate to take it back to the shop...
