defect BIOS link for model 0769 [ Edited ]

Dear lenovo team,

finally there seems to be a new BIOS available on the website. Unfortunately, the link is broken.
Here it does say version 1.15 is available:

On the linked site you can still only download the "ancient" 1.02 BIOS.

Please fix this link!

Anyway, thanks for the attempt to finally make a current BIOS available.

And by the way: Why is is only version 1.15? Here someone has already version 2.03...

Actually, the 1.15 version IS available, but with no link on Lenovo's webpage.

Unfortunately for me, there is no bootable CD image (I don't use windows, so the exe is useless for me). Trying to flash the BIOS with CD image for 0687 (just swapped the BIOS ROM image) didn't work.

Finally managed to flash bios on my N200 0769, using a newer phlash16.exe (got it from some other bios-upgrade iso image). Strange thing though is, the new 68ET34WW bios shows its version as _3.02_, not 1.15 as expected. The computer seems to work normally, have to further test this bios to see if cpu fan work is optimized

I just flashed my notebook with this BIOS and it works fine, though I didn't experience any differences.
The version number shown in my BIOS is 3.02 as well... Lenovo seems to count a bit awkward, since in the changelog it says, version 1.15 is the fourth release for the N200...

All,

We have submitted a revised BIOS for publication on the e-support site.

For type 0687, the new version is 1.16, file 66ET42ww.iso found HERE

For type 0769, the new version is 1.15, file 68ET35WW.iso found HERE

I understand there may be reports of other versions 2.xx circulating, but suggest that these two files are the lattest from Lenovo as of this date (5/5/08) available for download.  The 2.xx may be a different numbering scheme.   Please check the related file name against those above.

We should also track down other downlevel doccuments / tips which included older versions of bios.  Please point out any downlevel links the community may find that we have missed.
