gaming problem: blue screen after 10 min

Hello everyone,

my system is the 3000 N200 0769-BDG (T5250, Intel X3100) with 4 GB RAM and Windows XP Professional. I know this notebook isn't meant for gaming, but it shouldn't crash, if I want to play something.
Until now, I tried Half-Life 2 and Trackmania Nations Forever. Both games run under low or middle details quite good, but I get a blue screen after a few minutes.
I have installed the latest graphic drivers from Intel and all my other drivers are also up to date. BIOS version: 68ET26WW
I haven't yet experienced problems with other programs.

Have you updated directx? If not go to microsoft's web site and download the updater.

I have installed the newest directx version 9.0c. The problem is still the same: blue screen with the following error code

000000ea, 1. Parameter 884e2020, 2. Parameter 89586b30, 3. Parameter 891345f0, 4. Parameter 00000001

Sometimes it says on the blue screen the file igxprd32 is causing the problem.



Solution: Install Windows Vista!
I know that's not an elegant solution but it seems that the Intel Graphic drivers for XP are just too bad.

Hi,

my system is 3000 G430 4152 using WINDOWS XP SP2.....n I m facing problem in playing games as my graphic driver is of intel which is not very friendly for most of the games...so jus want to know if some one has any updates....which driver would be the best for this system...

i tried to download intel graphic driver again from lenovo website...but gettin msg that the original 1 is which alrdy thr in my system is the latest........

so no idea what to do.........or shall I try n install....NVIDIA graphic driver.....but again...don't know if it'll work with this sytem....
