When I gave some tech stuff for recycling my Lenovo installation disks and manuals got included by mistake. I now have just the laptop and nothing else :*(
Please could someone tell what I need to have and where I can get replacements?
I would be very grateful for any useful feedback.
Many thanks, Euphrosene

You should be able to get a user's manual on the Lenovo website.
Then look in the left panel and click on "User's Guides and Manuals". Most of the notebooks have a PDF version of the HMM and User's Guides.
I'm also assuming you're talking about the Recovery Disks? You can create your own. Follow the instructions on this link:

Let me know if this helps you

Many thanks for taking the time to respond, Mark.
Yes it was the Recovery Disks - and Think Vantage is not coming up, neither is Rescue and Recovery.
btw I 'downgraded' to XP when I bought the laptop from PCWB in Brighton.

Mark if you are ever in England, I'll buy you a beer!
I downloaded the Rescue and Recovery exe from the same link (near-ish) and am currently backing up the recovery files to an external drive. Phew!
btw, my message centre html is missing and the update message says 'System Update failed to upload'. Is that as easy to fix?
And many thanks again, Euphrosene
