Hi
I had Vista on my lenovo G530 laptop and it used to make short sounds when the laptop lid opened or closed upon entering/exit to/from sleep mode by closing/openning the lid. now I did format (not upgrade) and clean installed win7 Ultimate there is no any sound...How can I get this back??
-I dont think its a preinstallled program
-I tend to think it was a Vista sound scheme?
Thanks!

have you tried to update sound drivers?
i use now microsoft driver upto date .
when i had vista -conexat audio driver was installed allready .
I asked here if to use conexat driver
http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-3000-and-Value-
but decided not to install it since they are G550 and not G530
(i downloded software from G550 page that did not fit my G530...)
