Hi, well... Win 7 is good, it's support is not that good atm with Lenovo. Hence I couldn't upgrade my bios either so I'm guess that _might_ have been the culprit for what's happening.
First of, the video card issue is still present - I've started a topic about that a while ago - and on top of it all, yesterday i simply turned off. The laptop screen went blank and the whole machine turned off during a game of warcraft 3. The part where it ventillates the most -next to the firewire port on the left - was hot. So I think it was the over heating.
Why I am writing this here, is that it never did this under xp. Never, not even after half a day intense gaming. Could it be that one thin year was enough for the fan and the cooling system? I personally don't think so, though maybe... Devil never sleeps. Also, when will there be decent support from lenovo for laptops running win 7 64bit?
Also, the screen blinks during gameplay and less likely when I use the preview on the system tray. I have the latest drivers installed correctly - or so I think.
And another odd thing... Flash animations like youtube's often eat up 100% of the processor. Why? that seems to be constant on all os-es.
My machine is a 3000 n200 0769, with x3100, 3 GB of ram, and win 7 64 bit ultimate.
