Is it normal for a g560 to hit up to 72c under load? The notebook is brand new, cleaned, and in an air conditioned home.

Just curious if I should return it to the store for another or get some good thermal paste to fix it...

If it's under load, 72 doesn't seem unreasonable.

If you're concerned, and the notebook gets hotter than what you think is usual then I'd take it back and get a different notebook.
