Do you have Energy Management installed?

The hotkeys are incorporated into Energy Management.

Hi. I'm having the same problem...but I've had my G560 for ages, and the problem started last week.

I have no idea what Energy Management is, where to find it, or what you're talking about (I know how to use the thing, just have no knowledge of drivers, etc, so please step-by-step me.)

Hi AllisSmith,

Click Start, Control Panel, at the top choose view by category small icons, open Programs and Features.

See if you have an entry for Energy Management.

If it is there, close out Programs and Features, Click Start, all programs, scroll down to Lenovo, click it, See if Energy Management is listed.  If it is open it and see if you can choose the Power Management options.  

If you are not able to do some of those things, post back and we'll take it from there.

I have Energy Management. Is there a particular setting that I need to choose under Power Management Options? I don't see anything specific about the hotkeys.

Hi,

You won't see anything specific to hotkeys.  Hotkeys should work automatically.  If they are not, then go back into programs and features and click on Energy Management and uninstall it.

Then reinstall it from here .  Reboot the machine and see if the hotkeys work.  The link is for Windows 7 64 bit.  You might want to go into control panel, system, scroll down and it will tell you which version you have.

Double-checked the version. Uninstalled, re-installed, restarted. Hot keys for volume etc. still not functioning.
