type dvd disc

Lenovo 3000 G530, hl-dt-st dvdram gsa-t50n – what kind dvd disc I should use? I bought DVD-R Sony, but when I try burn with Cyberlink power2Go after a few seconds error appear – unknown mistake occurred.

See if you can change burn speed setting in Cyberlink.
Slow it down a bit, may be trying to burn at Max speed.

Also try +R if -R still gives problems after speed decrease.

I am able to burn disc by using Windows Media player.

try to re-install power2go or/and use another brand of dvd.
