upgrade RAM of (Y series) Y500 7761-35Q

i want to upgrade my RAM from 512 to 3gb. but i dont know which type of RAM to buy , i mean DDR1 or DDR2 and i also wnat to know to what max capacity of RAM can i upgrade to this model.

 I have a Lenovo Laptop of Model(3000 Y500 7761-45Q), and I would like to upgrade the RAM by 1GB, Is there possible in my model??

I think it use PC2-5300 DDR2 667MHz, and 2GB max. so you have to buy two SODIMM, 1gb each one.

But I also reccomend that you go to the Lenovo Support site, then Download and Support and Info yourself about your laptop.

I have 3000 Y 500 laptop. Currently it has 1 GB RAM. I want to upgrade its RAM. I dont know can I upgrade it to 2GB or 3GB RAM. Please guide me.
