Lenovo 3000 and Value line Laptops

Didn't put the new bios on yet.  Fan cycling realy doesn't bother me much. Maybe my fan is quieter?   As soon as they release the official bios update - will give it a try.

pls somebody help me. i flashed my bios and when i switch on the computer i have a black screen and dont boot up. what can i do?????

From this base, I decided not to send new bios further.

Do you run Windows 64bit? Did the BIOS flash suceed?
What are your exact specifications?

G550 ? Nvidia or Intel graphics? OS?

Yes i run WIndows 7 64BIt. I flashed with WinPhlash 64bit. Yes the fash is okey and zthe system is reboot but i have no display. only blank screen. Nvidia video card.

PLS help me.

My NEW G550 came back from the lab today.

"No fan problems were found".

Nothing fixed.

I mentioned that within a few months the computer will be dead because of this behavior, the reply was - "You have 1 year warrenty, Laptops are for 1 to maximum 2 years and then replacing".

Very unprofessional.

Can someone Please send me the bios update:

G550 / 4GB Ram, Nvidia G210M / T4300-2.1 GHZ.

hey Im from israel too, I sent my g550 about amonth ago and got the same tritment, very disapointing!

hope final version will be availible soon...
