DVD/CD-ROM drives cannot start

Hi,

I bought a Lenovo 3000 H100 desktop about a year ago and it has always been working fine till recently.

My DVD/CD-ROM drives somehow cannot work anymore. When I placed a CD/DVD, the light on the device will blink but only for a while. I cannot find the DVD/CD-ROM drives icon in My Computer also, it seems to disappear. When I checked under the Device Manager, under the Properties of the device, it is stated that "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

Can anyone help here?
