Is Aero supported on the 3000H series Desktops?

Question

I am using 3000 H series , 1gb ram (upgraded). Is aero supported in this model ? If not why?

Answer

Windows aero is not  supported on 3000H series systems. The Vista basic interface,(not even the vista standard interface) is provided.

 

Aero is not supported because  it requires pixel shader 2.0 supported graphics card which the sis661mx chipset does not support...it also requires a compatable WDDM(windows driver display model) chipset which is not supported as well...
